The U.R.O., the Unleashed Raging Object, is much like the Uropygi or whip scorpion after which it?s named. But while the Uropygi crushes its victim with its powerful pincers and then tears it apart, the U.R.O. embraces the power component of the scorpion but is mostly harmless.
The kite?s high aspect ratio helps it to turn quickly while still making it easy to control.

The flexible battens aid its straight-as-a-rail flight. They also bend under pressure, creating an airfoil, which results in a surprising amount of pull over a wide wind range. U.R.O. is for those who appreciate moderate pull even in light winds and are willing to take a beating in a gale.
